My name is Alisha, I'm 27 years old.
I am a well organised, reliable, and dedicated individual with an excellent work ethic.
I am compassionate person and my long-term goal is to progress within the social care environment, caring has been a large part of my life and previous work history, this includes caring for family members. My uncle is diagnosed with cerebral palsy, I have spent a large amount of time over the years caring for him and ensuring his needs are sufficiently met.
Although I manage well within routine, I am always keen to try new things. I am a firm believer in continuous self-improvement. There is always something new to learn and develop from and I thrive from a challenge.
I have done 7 years of care/support work, I first started in care working for a company that does a lot of high dependency care my duties included assisting clients with moving, medication assistance, personal hygiene care and looking after their individual needs. I moved on from that to PA work a lot of this includes general house hold duties like cleaning, cooking and companionship.
I enjoyed both of these jobs and feel like it has made me a good listener and learner, and i can communicate well with people from all walks of life.
I am currently at university completing my health and social care degree level 6.
My personal hobbies are horse riding as I own two horses, and I also have dogs who I enjoy taking on long walks. I have a good sense of humour and pleasant approach and spend time out with my friends going to gigs, meals and shopping.
